Euro 6 Technology

Barrinho Transportes’ fleet is fully DAF—XF and XG models—renowned for efficiency, comfort, and reliability. The new DAF XG provides smoother, more comfortable driving with advanced technology that optimizes performance and ensures a safe, ergonomic experience on long journeys. Equipped with Euro 6 engines, these vehicles meet the most stringent European environmental standards, significantly reducing NOx, particulate matter, and unburnt hydrocarbons.

The AdBlue system converts harmful gases into harmless water vapour and nitrogen, while the particulate filter traps soot before it reaches the atmosphere. Besides being cleaner, Euro 6 trucks are more fuel-efficient, reducing operating costs and supporting more sustainable mobility. Since 2022, Barrinho Transportes has operated a 100% Euro 6 fleet, renewed annually and aligned with ISO 14001 principles—reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.

TL4 door locking system with alarm

With the new TL4 rear-door locking system for semi-trailers, we can professionally protect your goods against theft. Rear doors feature an electromechanical drive and can be locked/unlocked manually or via remote control. Locking/unlocking can also be triggered automatically via geofence entry.
